Matts Natural Flood Management expertise began in the North East, specialising in using traditional skills in a modern context whilst training the next generation of Countryside Managers. Specifically, weaving living willow structures to hold high flows, creating wet woodlands and increasing channel roughness. His innovative and creative approaches get the very best outcomes from available topography natural materials and budget.

SIMON JOHNSON

Simon has 22+ years of catchment management and river habitat restoration experience. His first large scale river habitat restoration project was in 1997 on the River Deben in the wilds of East Anglia.
His specialisms include strategic catchment planning / stakeholder engagement and the scoping, development and project management for natural flood management and river restoration schemes.
BEN DAVIS
Woodlands & Forestry
Ben is Catchment Designs specialist Aborculturalist. He has over 20 years experience in sector. Having studied to degree level he subsequently worked in the United States and extensively across the UK.

Our contracting team are highly skilled and experienced ground works experts covering a wide range of disciplines including the operation of specialist plant, aboriculture and construction in remote locations.
